My point is that Joy Reid still has a job at MSNBC, a network that is overtly farther to the left than CNN is, after she first lied about and then (after the FBI investigated and proved she was lying!!) admitted to having written terribly homophobic blog posts and then deleting them when she was caught.

Point being, if the network of Rachel Maddow continues to employ Joy Reid after that, then there is no reason why CNN wouldn't employ homophobes based on values. CNN is more conservative than MSNBC is.
