Thomas Ravenel’s custody battle with Kathryn Dennis keeps gets nastier by the day. In the latest development, the former Southern Charm star accused Dennis of drinking when she was pregnant with their children, a move he claims led to developmental problems and behavioral issues.
Now, Dennis is firing back at the disgraced former treasurer of South Carolina.
“Kathryn thought Thomas’ filing was vile. To suggest she was consciously drinking and doing drugs even after she knew she was pregnant is completely disgraceful and not true,” a source told People.

Ravenel slammed Dennis in court for not bonding with their daughter, Kensington, when she was an infant. The disgraced reality star also says that their youngest son, St. Julien, had to undergo therapy as a result of her drug and alcohol use.
“For ethical reasons, I’m not going to comment on her case in the media,” Dennis’ lawyer explained. “However, I am preparing an appropriate reply that will be filed with the Court denying defamatory allegations made by Mr. Ravenel.”
Ravenel and his attorneys have not commented on the ongoing custody battle.
Dennis gave up full custody in 2016 after she failed a drug test. But after a stint in rehab, the Southern Charm star won back joint custody.
In the wake of Ravenel’s sexual assault scandal last summer, Dennis filed a motion to win primary custody of their children. Ravenel immediately fired back in court and their custody war has escalated over the past month.

Ravenel claims that he has been giving his children therapy sessions that are improving their development and behavior. He also says that his kids have taken a step back in their progress ever since they started spending more time with their mom.
While Dennis is undergoing drug tests to check her sobriety, Ravenel believes she is still abusing drugs and drinking excessively.
Ravenel claims that Dennis is passing the tests because she uses synthetic urine. He also suspects that she has not been clean since leaving rehab, though he admittedly has no proof.
He further stated that Dennis is receiving drugs from Bravo producers and a few of her Southern Charm co-stars.
Bravo has not commented on Dennis and Ravenel’s ongoing custody war.
