Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have joined Instagram, and their handle is perfect for the royal couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their social media account officially on Tuesday. They shared a loving message with fans, letting followers know what type of information people can expect from their posts.
It will be the official Instagram account for Prince Harry and his wife, where they will update followers on causes close to their heart, as well as any significant announcements.

Previously the first-time parents used the official Kensington Palace social media accounts to announce all of their personal and business dealings. However, now that the royal couple has separated their households, as well as their office, from Prince William and Kate Middleton they needed their own social media account.
Moving forward the Kensington Palace will only post about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who used the account to welcome Prince Harry and Markel to Instagram.
“Welcome to our official Instagram. We look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support and welcome you to @sussexroyal,” the couple shared in their first message signing it simply Harry and Meghan.
Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own Instagram account, can their followers expect more personal information than when they were under the Kensington Palace? Maybe, after all, Markle was all about having her own social media presence before she and married Prince Harry.
Their first post includes a variety of photos, but fans shouldn’t expect the account to be flooded with baby pictures. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their own social media account, there is still protocol they must follow when posting. It can’t be a free for all. They are royalty and specific rules to apply.

The news Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have joined Instagram comes a few weeks after Queen Elizabeth II shared her first Instagram post. It looks like the royal family is starting to up their social media game and fans could not be more pleased, especially since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own account.
