With its own dedicated Instagram page and hundreds of tweets paying tribute to his luscious quiff, fans of The Bachelor host’s mop are going to have conniptions with his latest transformation.

The 48-year-old veteran TV presenter took to social media to unveil his uncharacteristically shaggy ’do, which is now icy silver.

Gunsberg was promoting Movember in the post, showing fans his clean-shaven face as he begins the process of growing a moustache to raise money for charity, but his followers were far too invested in his startling hair change.

“THE HAIR!” one wrote with fire emojis, another adding, “Silva daddy.”

“But also giving icy blonde Osh?” another said.

Proving he’s much more than just pretty hair, Gunsberg also clapped back at one particularly savage hair dis.

“You honestly look like a 70-year-old grandmother to hit up the bingo haul. No offence,” one hater wrote, to which Gunsberg expertly responded: “It’s actually based on your actual grandmother, who I had just been with. No offence.”

Prior to that, before he was famous back in the ’90s, Gunsberg rocked sleek and straight long hair, which was revealed years later in a resurfaced vox pop clip from the SBS show Front Up.

Gunsberg, who most recently hosted The Masked Singer Australia, is gearing up for the premiere of a revamped The Bachelor, which was on hiatus this year but will be back in January.

The Channel 10 dating show returns in 2023 with three men in the hot seat, with a sea change from its long-running Sydney location to the Gold Coast in Queensland.

“There’s a lot that’s going to look and feel very different. I mean, the name of the show for starters. It’s The Bachelors. Plural. There’s three of them. An abundance of Bachelors.

“Joining these three eligible young men from across the country are smart, powerful, beautiful women who – like our Bachelors – are over the dating apps, the ghosting and the inability to commit.”
