Orel Hershiser Dodgers
Orel made his major league debut with the Dodgers in 1983. During his time with the team, Hershiser was a three-time All-Star, placing in the top five in Cy Young voting four times in his first six full seasons.
Hershiser’s most successful season was in 1988 when he set a major league record by pitching 59 consecutive innings without allowing a run. He lead the Dodgers to a championship in the 1988 World Series and was named the National League (NL) Championship Series Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the World Series MVP.
The very same season, he won the NL Cy Young Award and an NL Gold Glove Award. He later pitched in two more World Series and received the American League Championship Series MVP Award. He left Dodgers after playing in 12 seasons.
