KSI was handed the first loss of his boxing career by Tommy Fury in a controversial fight on Saturday night.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer tasted defeat for the first time in Manchester as Fury took the win via majority decision.
This was tough to take for the British social media star who has been credited with the explosion of YouTube boxing in recent years after stepping inside the ropes.
Joe Weller and Theo Baker's matchup in a gym in August 2017 was the first of the influencer boxing to make waves on these shores.
But it wasn't until KSI fought YouTube rival Weller months later in February 2018 for a white-collar bout that the sport began to grow.
The 29-year-old stopped Weller in the third round of their contest and then called out American YouTube brothers Jake and Logan Paul.

Logan took up the offer and after a draw, the pair decided to move into professional boxing for their rematch, kicking off their careers.
KSI has fought five times since, with the defeat to Fury his latest bout. But what is his overall record? talkSPORT.com takes a look...
KSI boxing record
KSI has won four, lost one and had a no-contest across his six professional fights.
He beat Paul in their rematch before backing up that win with two victories on the same night against Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda.

FaZe Temperrr was the next to be beaten by KSI before his win against Joe Fournier was ruled a no-contest.
The YouTuber then took on Fury in a huge bout but fell to the first defeat of his career in Manchester.
KSI professional fights
Logan Paul - W
The YouTubers fought a dramatic six-rounder in November 2019 in Los Angeles, with the Brit emerging victorious by split decision.
Two of the three judges scored it (57-54 KSI, 56-55 KSI) while the third had it 56-55 Paul to produce a split verdict in favour of KSI.
However, the razor thin margin of his triumph would not have stood without referee Jack Reiss’ decision to deduct two points from the American for hitting KSI late after knocking him down in the fourth.
Paul unsuccessfully appealed the ruling of the fight, which sparked a furious war of words between the pair in the weeks following.
However, they have since patched things up and even teamed up to launch the best-selling energy drink Prime Hydration across the UK.
Swarmz - W
Three years passed since KSI's defining victory while he pursued other ventures in business and music before he returned to the ring.
‘The Nightmare’ was initially due to take on Alex Wassabi, only for him to withdraw citing concussion with just three weeks to go.
KSI instead faced British rapper Swarmz as a late replacement and made short work of the fight, claiming a dominant second-round KO.
KSI even did press-ups in between rounds before going backstage to prepare for a second fight on the same night!
Luis Alcarez Pineda - W
KSI took himself to 3-0 just hours after he had dispatched Swarmz as he faced a professional for the first time.
Although not that fans would be able to tell, as the British star blasted Mexican Pineda with a third-round TKO.
KSI reacted by saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, are you not entertained?
"Two fights, one night, two KO’s. I talked the talk and I walked the walk."
FaZe Temperrr - W
KSI was then set to take on Dillon Danis but he pulled out just weeks before the fight.
FaZe Temperrr stepped in on short notice and took on the YouTuber following his incredible feat against Swarmz and Pineda.
KSI stalked his opponent from the off and landed a crushing right hand - left hook combination to leave the Brazilian sprawled on the canvas.
Despite having a four-inch height advantage and being a southpaw, Temperrr was no match for KSI as he claimed a first-round knockout win.
Joe Fournier - No contest
Fournier was up next for KSI and this fight would end in controversy.
He rocked his opponent with a thunderous right hand in the second round before trying to follow up with a hook.
However, he didn't connect and instead clipped Fournier with his elbow which sent him crashing to the ground.
KSI was awarded the KO win on the night but this was then overturned after an appeal and the result became a no-contest.
Tommy Fury - L
Following the Fournier fight, Fury and KSI began their rivalry.
And seven months later, the pair finally took to the ring at the Manchester Arena for a highly-anticipated fight.
But after six rounds, they couldn't be separated with both struggling to make a real impact in the ring.
It went to the judge's scorecards and Fury would come away as the winner, handing KSI his first career loss.
But the result was controversial considering Fury received a point deduction during the tightly-contested battle.
Speaking after the fight, KSI said: "It's outrageous.
"We are going to appeal. I wanna appeal, bro.
