Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson got away with violently yanking a referee away from him during a scuffle in the Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football at Acrisure Stadium.

Watson, 28, will likely be hearing from the league's front office sometime this week because NFL rules strictly state that shoving an official is an automatic ejection from the game. The referee kept the flag on his waist this time around.

The Browns QB was fighting with Steelers players on the sideline when officials attempted to separate them.

Watson did not take too kindly to being held back and removed the official's hand from his arm one swift move.

He is clearly frustrated over his continuous struggles under center through two games of the 2023 NFL season.

Deshaun Watson to blame for Browns loss to Steelers

Watson was coming off a poor performance in the team's Week 1 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, where he recorded 154 passing yards, a touchdown pass, a rushing TD and an interception on 16-for-29 completions.

Against the Steelers, Watson threw for 235 yards and a touchdown on 22-for-40 completed passes, but was on the wrong end of a pick 6.

He also fumbled the ball halfway through the fourth quarter with Cincy leading Pittsburgh 22-19, which led to a scoop and score, and sealed the win for the home side.

Watson will look to get the Browns (1-1) back in the win column when they host the Tennessee Titans (1-1) on Sunday.
