One limited time supermarket item is getting a lot of attention online, with many mums eager to get their hands on it as back to school approaches fast.
The Hoopla Bento Lunchbox is part of Aldi’s Special Buys release that will drop on January 11. There are three designs – Rad Rex, Unicorn and a sticker-look version.
The item retails for $12.99.
Inside, there are several compartments that people can put cut veggies, fruit, dips, sandwiches, pastas, crackers or chocolates inside of.
Bento box-style lunch boxes rose in popularity over the last few years after parents loved the variety it could offer their children.
The lunch boxes are modelled off a style of meal made popular in Japan.
Social media users were excited to get their hands on the item, with some even dreaming up ways they could use it.
“A couple of these for the kids snacking in the car or down the beach, etc,” one social media user suggested.
Another tagged their friend, asking; “Can you get one for me if you end up getting some plssss?”
One said they were eager to pick the bento boxes up when they wrapped up work for the day.
Another said they were glad there had been a design change from the bento boxes that came out in 2022, with plastic lids.
